Who’s Up For Some Twisted Cover Art?

April 26, 2011

Hello Sara Shepard fans. Cover art has been released for Pretty Little Liar’s 9th book Twisted and it’s a slight departure from previous cover art.

Does the Spencer doll being all twisted up in the title have a significance to the plot? What the heck is the plot now that A has *Spoiler Alert!* died? There was nothing to wrap up! Aftermath can only accrue so many pages but 4 books worth of aftermath? The last book had better not have been all red herring though how it could possible have been a red herring I have no idea.

Okay rant over now. I just have a slight problem with leading us on by saying that book 8 was the final one then turning around and announcing 4 more books after the popularity level has skyrocketed. Either way I’ll be reading it and then ranting about it some more when I’m done. I’ll keep you up dated on any juicy secrets I dig up on Pretty Little Liars. Twisted releases July 5th and Pretty Little Liars’ second season airs Tuesday, June 14th at 8/7c on ABCFamily.

Well I hope the eight books cover the holes sara shepard left in the previous books. Like the girl who died the same day courtney(ali’s twin) did, think about why did A send Emily there? It was never covered. Hopeful Sara will also go into more detail about there past and more detail on Ali’s diary (which is actually courtney’s twin). Hopefully she’ll also clear the air about why Mona became A for while. Did she plan it all along? Or did she snap when she found the diary. And I also think it’d be great if Sara went over what is wrong with ali’s family remeber her twin was in an asylum and what did iris do anyways and how does it tie in with ali. I just felt like Sara didnt really wrap up, the eight book seemed so rushed.

True there are some holes that have been around for a long time. Some recent holes could be easily dealt with along with the immediate after math of the last book, my question is how is she going to tie all those answers into the plot? What makes them search out the answers now that no one is threatening them? Or will someone new be threatening them to find the answers?

I just read Twisted. It takes place a year later so it doesn’t really mention anything from the past. It doesn’t mention Mona or anything from the girls’ sophmore or junior years. She just starts fresh when Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily are seniors in high school.

Interesting. So it’s essentially a whole new series rather than a continuation of the old one? I haven’t had time to read it yet but your comment has peaked my interest.
